WHAT IS YOUR SHADOW TRYING TO SHOW YOU?

Your shadow has been with you everywhere you’ve gone.
Quietly.
~The betrayal you never really dealt with…RECORDED
~The grief you buried because life kept moving…RECORDED
~The addiction you used to escape yourself…RECORDED
~The anger…RECORDED
~The resentment…RECORDED
~The suffering…RECORDED
~The need for control…RECORDED
~The same damn relationship patterns…RECORDED
~The things about yourself you don’t particularly want to look at…RECORDED
We can change jobs. Change relationships. Move. Stop drinking. Start over. Reinvent ourselves. But guess what comes with us?
Our shadow.
And eventually we get tired.
Tired of the same behaviors.
~The same reactions.
~The same pain.
~The same suffering.
~The same outcomes while wondering why the hell our lives aren’t changing.
Maybe that’s when the spiritual awakening happens.
Not because our shadow suddenly takes over.
Because we finally become willing to turn around and LOOK at it.
To say:
Why do I keep doing this?
What am I afraid of?
What am I still carrying?
What part of myself have I refused to look at?
Who could I become if I finally did?
Because you can’t keep doing the same things, thinking the same way, reacting the same way—and expect your life to somehow produce a different result. At some point, willingness has to enter the picture.
Willingness to see yourself.
ALL of yourself.
The beautiful stuff AND the shit you’d rather keep hidden. 😂
And maybe that’s where we begin finding our authentic selves.
Not by getting rid of our shadow.
By finally turning around, meeting it, learning from it, and bringing those hidden pieces of ourselves into the light.
So I’ll ask you…
What’s YOUR shadow trying to show you?
And maybe the bigger question:
Have you finally had enough of the same old pain to become willing to do something different?
Because THAT is where change begins. ❤️
